One of the long term effects of workplace bulling is health problems; psychological and physical health problems can be caused by bulling at workplace. Some of those problems include; blood pressure, ulcers, moods worries and panic attack. Victims may experience some symptoms such as headaches, poor dieting and poor sleep.
Secondly; workplace bulling affect job performance; when workers become victims of bulling they are not able give their best in the work. This in turn leads to low productivity, incapacity to perform and lower self-esteem among workers.
Thirdly; hostile work environment among workers; this results to poor working environment among workers and they are not able to perform well in their jobs. This in turn may create low productivity.
Setting boundaries can be used to stop bulling in the work place when one engages in bullying it’s always good to face them ad tell them such kind of behaviours is not accepted and they continue doing so they will be punished.
Secondly; the behaviour should be confronted; when workers are not in a position to stop bulling they can be sent away when they are in a position to stop the behaviour they can resume back to the work.
Thirdly, talking to human resource. When one is not able to handle such cases of bulling its good enough to involve managers.in this case the human resource manager will deal with such people and get to know steps to follow when dealing with bullies.
