Grade 4

They learn how to solve real-life word problems using the four basic operations - addition,subtraction,multiplication,and division.

GP = Gross Profit

NP = Net Profit

Gross Profit = Net Sales - Cost of Goods Sold

GP = Net Sales - COGS

Net Profit = Total Revenue - Total cost

NP = TR - TC

Net Profit = Gross Profit - (total expenses for operations,interestsand taxes)

NP = GP - (total expenses for operations,interestsand taxes)

GP

it is the difference between total revenue earned from selling products/services and the total costs of goods sales/services sold.

NP

it is the difference between total revenue earned and total cost incurred.

Grade 5

The learners do more practice more complex computation with fractions,decimals, and larger numbers , using all four basic operations - addition, subtraction, multiplication and the division.

Grade 6

The Leaners will learn patterns and identify rational numbers and integers on a number line as well as compare them and using models will greatly improve there understanding on these concepts
