1. Leading by example
One of the leadership skills a manager should practice is leading by example. This involves following the rules and regulations set by the company. If it is punctuality, a manager should show the same for the other workers to follow the same example
2. Coaching and motivating others
This is the other leadership skill a manager should adopt and use especially to the newly employed people. This done to let them know how the company operates. For example, a worker might get stranded in using a certain technology in production process such as operating a complicated machine. In such a case, the manager should guide the employee so that he/she can also guide another employee in future.
