Culture is a critical aspect of many people's lives. Culture what people feels about a product and its desirability in a society. Consumers will always consume products that are always within their cultural comfort zone. certain cultures encourage certain consumption of certain goods and services and the sellers have an easy task to push sales since the product is culturally accepted within the society. On the other hand, culture can prohibit the consumption of certain products and thus consumers will always conform to that.

Cultural factors include; basic values, needs, wants, preferences, perceptions, and behaviours. These factors influence how consumers make their buying decisions and the level of acceptance in the culture society. Values determine social classes in the market which have different buying capacities.  Social class is where we stand in society compared to others based on income, education and occupation. While education and occupation influence our purchase desires, income determines our actual purchasing power.
