My all-time favorite children's story is The Gingerbread man. The story is about a boy on the run for the fear of being eaten by people who see him as very delicious. The book is appealing to me because the boy loses it finally when he trusted the wrong person leading to his downfall. The story basically warns us on who to trust from the experience of the gingerbread boy.
