Modern society refers to the economic, social, political and cultural changes which the industrialization of society has caused, looking at continuities and discontinuities through pre-industrial, industrial and post-industrial societies before considering particular aspects. 

Citizenship education is the education gives people the knowledge and skills to realize, challenge and engage with democratic society including politics, the media, civil society, the economy and the law.
