Recent developments in South Africa have drawn the attention of international community to the dismantling of apartheid and abandoning of the assumptions which underlie and support the ideology .As a result of introduction of democracy ,nonracist and nonsexist community has far reaching implications for educational thought and practice, for philosophy of education. Education system under apartheid had been fragmented along racial and ethnic lines ,and had been saturated with racial ideology and educational doctrines of apartheid.
