Increase in the number of students, increases number of devices that access the WiFi. The policy BYOD has increased this number of devices as an average student owns at least one or two devices so who, what, where, when and how the end-users, are accessing the network poses a great risk as most devices are not configured.

Also the high number of students increases traffic too many requests for a server to respond leading to slow internet causing anxiety among students due to latency.

This challenges can be addressed by use of Network Access Control as it's a security solution to define and create rules to manage devices and their end-users accessing a campus wifi network. The administrator can set up policies like the role is a person a student, guest also which device are they using is it a laptop or mobile.
