Discuss practically the server form factor(s) you would consider for AIT and justify your choice with reasons.
1. Blade server__ is a server on a single card that can be mounted alongside other blade servers in blade chassis. They are designed to save more space than rack mount servers.
The benefit of blade server is you don't need a separate power supply for each server because the blade enclosure provides power for all it's blades. The blade enclosure also provides KVM switching so that you don't need to use a separate KVM switch.
2. Rack mount__ it's designed to save space she you need more than a few server in a confined area. It's housed in a small chassis that is designed to fit into a standard 19 inch equipment rack.
It's advantage is that it saves space because the rack allows vertical stacking of the servers.
3. Tower case__ most server are housed in traditional tower case, similar to the tower cases used for desktop computers.
Advantage of tower case is that some server case includes advanced features which are especially designed for servers like redundant power supply which enables both server to continue operating if one of the power supply fails.
