The source of any gravitational field is not metal or rotating metal, but any mass. Even light things like pen or cup will attract you gravitationally, but very very weak. For this reason, we don't feel this force. The Earth is a very massive body and is located close to us (unlike Sun), so the biggest gravity attraction we feel from the side of the Earth.

To create gravity similar to Earth gravity we need a body with mass like Earth mass close to us. It doesn't matter what this body will consist of, only the mass is important.

On the other hand, melted metal is responsible for the Earth magnetic field. So, having melted rotating metal in the lab it is indeed possible to make a magnetic field like that of Earth.
