The effect of raman is the change in the frequency of light when it dispersal. When light with frequency "\\nu_0" dissipates with molecules of matter with frequencies of oscillations "\\nu_\u0456" , scattered light has frequencies "\\nu" , which are determined by the equation:


"\\nu=\\nu_0\\pm\\nu_i;"

Such a spectrum is called a raman spectrum.
