Holy Crap

The Dragon’s Den is a television show that was first instituted in Japan and is now a worldwide brand with its brands aired globally. The international brand allows entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas in the Den in front of five Den Dragons. They are capitalists inclined to invest their own money in the best views in the trade of equity. The Dragon’s Den is an exemplary institution that emphasizes its rules and regulations. Without regulations, the Den will cease to operate or fail its mission.

One compelling pitch I enjoyed watching was 'Holy Crap.' Holy Crap is a breakfast cereal invented or introduced in 2009 by Brian and his wife, Corin Mullins. The two walked in together with their products and had the judges taste their plant-based organic cereals. One of the judges tasted it and was quick enough to say that he did not need to hear the rest of their pitch and that he wanted to buy it and do business with them. Getting such a comment from a judge is a rare thing to do. These two, Brian and Corin, were able to get lucky enough and have judges like their pitch (Cadet, 2021).

The breakfast cereal is gluten-free, high in nutrient content, plant-based, vegan, contains Omega 3s, and a certified organic meal made it outstanding in the market. With the growing rate of people dying from lifestyle diseases, people are now opting to leave healthy lies that involve fresh and organic food products. One of the judges partnered and invested with them and directed them with advice on operating and making high sales in their breakfast cereal company. People are now turning to organic foods, and the fact that they were able to come up with that idea in 2009 made it an outstanding idea that was worth being invested in. the breakfast cereal, which later changed its brand name to ‘Holy Crap’ has attracted a lot of sales (Cadet, 2021).

One interesting fact is that when the breakfast cereal was named ‘Holy Crap,’ they realized many sales during that year. They had gone back to the Dragon’s Den in the hope of getting a boost in their financial system but renaming their brand changed everything for them. They got credible investors who supported them, and they were able to stand on their own without help from capitalists from the Den within a short while. The Dragon’s Den helps entrepreneurs realize their full potential. With support from the capitalists, a good pitch can change an organization's financial status and help boost sales worldwide. Holy Crap grew was a great pitch that was introduced in 2009, and now its sales are worldwide, and the company has made many profits to date.
