The intent for redundancy should be notified 60 days before the intended day.

This change will help the employee have enough time to secure another job temporary or permanent. In return, these people will not lose their livelihood. Employees declared redundant are often left without any other option.

Increase in the settlement payments

While there is a settlement while declared redundant, it is a very small amount in my country. In the Covid- 19 time it is even worse because the company claims to be operating on a loss, while this might be true, the person who is let go, will not be able to pay their rent and feed his family. It is therefore important that the amount for settlement be a little bid more.
