Lack of trust among team members is one of the major challenges I always encounter in my workplace. The success of any team often relies on the trust among members which is consequently important in building relationships. However, I most often encourage open discussion with team members to find out any concerns they have in disclosing information to me.

Besides that, ineffective communication is also a major factor that affects teamwork at my work place. This normally happens due to different personalities and hierarchies, which increases the chances of miscommunication among team members. Increase in communication frequency and use of a common messaging platform is one of the method I normally use to avoid communication breakdown.

Furthermore, poor planning also affects teamwork at my work place and this has contributed to disharmony in my team. As a result, I usually counter this problem by having each team member accorded a timeline and the objectives to be met before commencing on any project. This has really been important in helping them maintain their focus throughout the project.
