Is there a consensus about the top three intrinsic or extrinsic characteristic what do you think explain whether there is or not?
Intrinsic value has traditionally been thought to lie at the heart of ethics. The intrinsic value of something is said to be the significance that that thing has in itself. Extrinsic value is significance that is not intrinsic. The intrinsic stuffs of something depend only on that thing, while the extrinsic stuffs of something may depend, completely or partially, on something else. If something has an intrinsic property, then so does any perfect duplicate of that thing, whereas duplicates situated in different surroundings will differ in their extrinsic properties.
