Growth of children majorly depends on the environment they are brought up in. If their parents are uneducated, they may not know the importance of educating their children and good nutrition.

Poor diet on children can lead to many health issues like weak limbs and slow brain development. As a result, some children might develop stunted growth and reduced capacity to learn. This causes the children to have an inferiority complex and instead of aiming high, they might develop criminal behaviors.

Some of the suggestions to solve this problem are as follows;

Spreading awareness among the less fortunate – The less fortunate should be encouraged regularly to educate their children by making them understand the importance of education. This is because those children will help them and also themselves and hence eliminate the poverty cycle.

Offering support – The less fortunate should be given support in getting their children educated for instance by giving them unused stationeries, old books and many others in order to create interest in the children.

Sharing of information – The government has many free health and academic campaigns. Since you are a digitally aware citizen, you can easily keep a track of free health campaigns and scholarships for the less fortune. You can convey this information to the helpers so that they can use it as an opportunity to improve their own lives.

Channelize our charity – Instead of donating a lot of money at places of worship, this money can be channeled to buy school items for the less fortunate.

What to remember is that we are all the same and the difference that exists is that we are lucky to be born in a family that is comparatively much better off economically than the less fortunate and therefore it is our duty to help the less fortunate where we can.
