Are the civil society and other organizations truly separates from the government’s actions and policies? In what ways can the state maintain it’s sovereignty amid globalization?
Civil society and other organizations such as NGOs are not separate from government because their role in society is focused on supporting government established organizations and implementing policies that affect society. Therefore, they strengthen the government's role by aiding different services that the administration may not be in a position to provide due to inadequacies. The government can attain its sovereignty by establishing clear policies that separate direct involvement with civil society and other organizations.
