The human rights intended to promote respect for diversity focuses on the circumstance that every person is equal before the law and has the right to equal protection and equal benefit of the law. They encourage physical, gender and racial diversity. For example, women and men have the right to equal treatment, including the right to equal opportunities in political, economic, cultural and social sphere. The rights include: freedom from discrimination on the basis of race. There should be no discrimination on the basis of race. People of all races must be accepted as an integral part of the community. Secondly, everyone should be able to access cultural and educational rights without any form of restriction.

Thirdly, all people should have the right to freedom of religion in that people should have the freedom to worship anywhere despite their culture and the background they come from. Another human right that promotes diversity is the right to equality where by all people is viewed to be equal regardless of where they come from or their gender and race. Right to equality also enables people to have equal opportunities especially in the distribution of natural resources.

Fifth, we have the right against exploitation which might be from the rich to the poor or from the government to the citizens. With installation of this right, everyone’s right is protected and this promotes respect for diversity. Lastly, right to constitutional remedies is another type of human right that promote diversity where by this right gives the citizens the right to approach the Supreme Court or the High Court to get any fundamental right restored in case they are violated.
