Education diversity

In my context, the type and how children access education depends greatly on the economic status of the parents or guardians of the student. A student who lacks education due to poverty is sometimes segregated or discriminated against. This leads to low esteem for the developing mind of the student. Students who do not have adequate education comes from poor background or families and this results to poor or lack of education; Some people are unable to afford tuition fees for their children. During this time, quality education has become very expensive due to transport, tuition fees, and other basic needs such as food. Thus the economic status of some individuals does not allow for them to educate their children in proper and decent schools.

Schools should be made to be sociological functions. This means that schools should provide the student with not only education but basic socialization experiences. The socialization experience created in school should ensure that discrimination is minimized. Since human beings need each other for development and functionality, a sociological environment will benefit the student (Lee-Tarver, 2006).

The function of schools and education should be to teach the learners how to make a good living in the future. Good living in this case means understanding how to leave with other beings through socialization. The function of education should be to train learners on how to provide them with human needs such as food, shelter, clothing among other secondary needs such as social and happiness (Bass, 1997).
