Assessment and evaluation
Assessment is a form of appraisal where someone is given feedback by the trainer or instructor. Assessment can be done through observation by a teacher or instructor to the student to come up with some feedback on the progress of the student. Thus not particular measure or value is attached to the evaluation. Assessment is thus done as a given appraisal on the progress of someone such as a student (Kizlik, 2012).
On the other hand, evaluation is the use of a specific method or measure to come up with a measure of the state of a student. Thus evaluation results in reporting on the value of a student in case of a learning evaluation are the process of measuring the value of someone to report their current value regarding the subject matter (Kizlik, 2012).
