Users are those who interact directly with the product,manage direct users, receive output from the product, make purchasing decisions and use competitor's products.
Answer two
Needs are the information users require, their context, who collaborates to achieve the tasks and why the tasks are achieved the given ways.
Answer three
Flair and creativity, this helps in research and synthesis
Seek inspiration, look at similar products or look at very different products, this helps on how to grow your designs
Answer four
I consider the following;
Safety
Utility
Effectiveness
Efficiency
Answer five
Have development and design running in separate tracks
Maintain a coherent vision of the interface architecture.
