1) The statement means that the teaching strategies should be inclusive enough to accord more learners access.
2) Diversity goes beyond cultural aspects such as tribe and race to include children with learning disabilities and special needs. On the other hand, multiculturalism is all about tolerance to persons of different races, tribe, nationality and related aspects.
3) A diverse classroom is one that does not discriminate learners on the basis of culture or special needs. In such a classroom the teacher gives each student personalized attention depending on their needs instead of a "one approach fits all strategy."
