The evolution of monkeys to humans was caused by a certain environmental pressure (factors) during a
certain period of time. Their evolution to human is not the final and exceptional step. The evolution is not finished. It continues. But probably the initial environmental factors changed. So monkeys can evolve other species in the future. It can happen because of adapting to the existing environmental circumstances. Also a human can evolve to other species.
