Describe the three (3) methods used to control confounding using an epidemiological study design and the two (2) methods used to control confounding during the analysis of results:
Randomization-the random assignments of study subjects to exposing different categories to break any links between the exposure and confounders reducing the potential of confounding
Restriction-it eliminates the different variations in the confounder
Matching-used in case-control case studies

Stratification-it objectifies to fix the levels of confounders and produce groups within which the confounder varies
Multivariate models- works in places where there are not plenty strata and in only one or two confounders have been controlled
