(i) Type Specimens

Type specimens are particular specimens or illustrations of organisms with certain scientific name. They represent part of collections maintained by museums and universities where they can be accessed by other scientists.

(ii) Taxonomic hierarchy is the sequence of categories in increasing or decreasing order of the organism's classification.

(iii)Flora comprises all plants inhabiting a particular region or time, mostly occuring as native plants. This definition sometimes includes also fungi and other simple organisms lacking the ability of active locomotion.

(iv)Wild life sanctuaries are area where animals and their surroundings are protected from the capturing, killing and poaching. These areas are created for comfortable life of animals and their protection from multiple disturbances.
