What is sociological imagination
The sociological imagination is a way of looking at the world from a different perspective. It is a way of thinking about people and society that takes into account a range of social settings. The societal imagination enables people to analyze their lives not just on a personal level, but also in terms of societal, biological, and historical contexts. When we evaluate societal context, we consider how our wants, actions, and thoughts are impacted by our society, as well as how that community is evolving. To employ the sociological imagination, you must shift your focus away from yourself and look at things more broadly, putting individual actions into context.
