The study was about the sense of smell as our most rapid warning system. The capacity to sense and respond to the smell of a possible threat is a prerequisite for our and other creatures' survival. Exhausting a novel technique, the study has revealed what occurs in the brain when the central nervous system benches a smell to epitomize danger. The study denotes that negative smells linked with unease or unpleasantness are processed before optimistic smells and activate a physical avoidance reaction. The study is limited to cognitive processes only and did not focus on all triggers including the vicinity. I have learned that our sense of smell is significant to our aptitude to detect dangers in our purlieu, and this capability is supplementary unconscious than our retort to danger arbitrated by our senses of hearing and vision.
