Can Ubuntu be practised outside of community? Elaborate.
Yes, Ubuntu can be practiced outside of community. Ubuntu`s philosophy is humanity towards others and thus this can not only be demonstrated within community but outside of it as well. For instance, people have pulled together to help other communities through outreach programs and aids. Through outreach programs, communities can help the downtrodden, the poor, and even the bereaved. Similarly, rich nations at times show there Ubuntu through aids to the poor nations and nations hit with catastrophes’. A case in point is the donations of vaccines to nations that are unable to out rightly buy for all its citizens or even produce them. Even though the concept of Ubuntu emanated from Africa, it has become a global philosophy that encourages people to regard each other as humans and as one.
