Explain the difference between a MAC address and an IP address. You should relate your answer to the OSI model.
The IP Address uniquely identifies network connection and is also known as the ‘Logical Address,’ which operates on the Implementation layer. The IP address is implemented in the Network layer of the TCP/IP or OSI model. MAC Address is also known as the physical address that uniquely identifies a node on the network. The MAC Address is implemented in the Data-Link layer of the TCP/IP reference model or the OSI.
