If you already have the emf as a function of time, for example:


U(t)=20sin(250t) [V]U(t) = 20\sin(250t)\space[V]

then the maximum emf produced in the cycle is equal to 20V20V. In general it has form:


U(t)=U0sin(ωt+ϕ0)U(t) = U_0\sin(\omega t+\phi_0)

where U0U_0 is the maximum emf produced in the cycle.

If you don't have such expression, then all depends on the particular circuit.
