Compared to a gear tooth on the
rear sprocket (on the left, of
small radius) of a bicycle, a gear
tooth on the front sprocket (on
the right, of large radius) has the same linear speed and a slower angular speed. Why?

As both are rotating with the same linear speed but as radius of the larger wheel is large so it's angular speed will be less, and the small wheel has the less radius so it have the large angular speed.

Large radius sprocket will provide the higher torque while the small radius sprocket will provide the lesser torque.
