Watch the movie Pleasantville (1998), an older classic about a young man, David, and his twin sister, Jennifer, who are sucked through their television into a 1950s black-and-white sitcom where it is always a pleasant 72 degrees, books have no words, there is no sex, and everyone accepts rigid conventional lives.
