Given 𝑃={(1,7),(1,7),(3,9),(1,3)}𝑃 = \{(1,7), (−1,7), (3,9), (1,3)\}

The domain of the function is:

{1,1,3}\{1,-1,3\}

and the co-domain of the function is:

{7,9,3}\{7,9,3\}

which doubles as the image/range of the function.

P is a function because every element in the domain is mapped to an element in the co-domain and also, each element in the domain is not a first element to more than one element in the co-domain.
