Describe the formal network of communication in an organization, division, or department with which you are familiar (preferably a simple one). Discuss why you think a communication network has taken this form and how successfully it seems to meet a business needs.
Formal communication entails the flow of authorized information via proper, predefined routes and channels. The flow of data is regulated and needs thoughtful effort to be correctly communicated. For instance, upward communication happens when employees report to a supervisor or team leaders report to a department boss. It has taken this form and appears to be successful since items naturally interconnected upward include offers for projects, progressive reports, budget approximations, complaints and grievances, proposals for improvements, and schedule issues.
