Think of a product that really reminds you of your childhood-a particular candy bar, a toy, a television show etc. What is the positioning of that product in your mind? Describe how would you reposition that product to appeal to children now.
A Product that reminds me of my childhood is a CANDY BAR. Repositioning includes the progressions that are done to an item to get by on the lookout and to confront the opposition. Item repositioning focuses on a similar market only with few changes done on the item.
Position Milk Duds as America’s long-lasting alternative to the candy bar. Because Milk Duds come in boxes of 15 individual slow-eating chocolate-covered caramels, they have been so popular at the movie theatres.
I would reposition by advertising it on billboards, television, magazines and newspapers with pictures of happy kids enjoying it and through this way I will make many kids have the desire of buying the candy bar.
