Benchmarking is key in ensuring that there are ongoing improvements and thorough modifications to business metrics such as the products they sell, procedures of the organization, and the services they offer. Therefore, benchmarking as a process aids in the understanding of the desires and expectations of the clients who the university serves now and then. The customers who comprise majority of parents and other stakeholders can be used in benchmarking the various processes the university undertakes. This will go a long way in help the university administration to know ways to develop processes and procedures that meet the needs, desires and expectations of all the stakeholders.
