It involves using various channels of reaching the consumers in the markets such as advertising, branding, online advertising and digital space, trade show appearances, PR activities among others. It helps move products, services, and ideas from manufacturers to end-users and builds and maintains relationships with customers, prospects, and other important stakeholders in the company. Advertising and sales promotion will continue to play important roles in the marketing communication mix.
Public relations is a communication strategy that organizations use to build mutual and beneficial relationships with other organizations and the public. It reflects the public image of the brand of the organization. It helps the organization develop and maintain relationships with all of its key publics and stakeholders by effectively communicating with these groups. Communication is key in maintaining satisfactory, long-term, trusting relationships with the public and stakeholders.
