Management is an art because of the following, it uses theoretical knowledge in a personal way. It also involves regular practice and creativity which indicate it as an art. Management if further an art because the process of management involves the use of know how and skills.

On management being a science, it uses logic ,objectivity ,cause and effect relationships.There is also the presence of systematic and organized study materials. Management principles are further based on repeated experiments .Managers test and experiment managerial principles under different conditions in different organizations.

The process of management is directed towards the accomplishment of concrete results. It is personalized in the sense that every manager has their own approaches to problems .
