In the following email, what is the claim?
Hi Kava,
Our sales in the northeast region are up 45% over the same quarter last year. Melinda is doing a fantastic job. She also has the lowest travel expense claims of the entire sales team even though she does not live in the northeast region. Melinda’s lower operating costs have made the increase in sales have an even greater effect on the quarterly profit/loss statement.
Melinda has probably developed some sort of communication plan that has reduced her travel expenses while increasing her production. There may also be other factors that led to the increase. Could you please investigate and see if there are any best practices we can communicate to the rest of the team?
Thanks
James
Although Melinda does not live in the northeast region, the claim is based on the lowest operating cost data. - Sales have increased due to lower operational costs.
