Every marketer understands that humans are not logical economic beings. It's partly about need, but it's also about how you feel about something. It's about the consumers' reactions to the situation, their relationship with the product and the salesperson, and how they see themselves. All of these are subject to change, based on how they explain the scenario to the consumer, and the salesman. If someone gives buyers something for free, they are more likely to desire to return the favor. It's human nature to desire to balance things out. As a result, reaching out and offering something for free – a free gift, free content, or free guidance and help – is smart business. If you've been supporting and helpful for a long time, your customer will feel compelled to aid you. People prefer to do things the same way they've always done them. Once buyers have established that they drink a certain kind of beer or eat at a certain restaurant, it becomes a part of their identity. As a result, the more a seller can persuade a consumer to commit to you, the easier it will be for them to stick with them. Distribute limited-time freebies. Encourage them to subscribe to your newsletter. That is why buyers provide no-obligation, cancel-at-any-time services, and why they function.

People prefer practical reasons to buy a product or service, and they're more inclined to pay attention to a sales pitch that provides a viable answer. This sales method works best when combined with active listening; listen to the client to obtain a sense of how the product could benefit them, and then adapt your pitch to that person or firm. The client will feel more comfortable trusting and listening to the salesperson if they feel like they're learning about a solution that will work for them, not just you, because they'll feel like they're learning about a solution that will work for them, not just you.
