Despite an increase in legislation on wildlife protection and the existence of social and ethical values of animals, why do we see an increase in man-wildlife conflicts across the countries? Analyze this contradiction and explain the hidden underlying reasons
1.Population increase adjacent to wildlife habitats. This has lead to an increase on the demand of the resources thus a rise in these conflicts.
2.Deforestation and overgrazing in national parks. This reduces the amount of food available for wild animals.
3.Agriculutural expansion. Most people have started farming inside forests. This has angered most wild animals because humans have invaded their habitat.
