Social Media Strategy Change

In changing and advertising the marketing strategies of the business on social media, I would work with social media micro-influencers who have higher and true engagements. Apart from being less costly than big names, the audience of micro-influencers can be more specific and are confident dealing with these influencers. Also, I would capitalize and implement live video strategy by thoroughly researching the audience and understanding what they want. Then, I would use insider interviews, giveaways and behind-the-scenes videos to keep the target audience engaged.

I will prefer using several social media tools for instance, Canva to produce aesthetically pleasing content and images. This tool is useful for busy social media marketers as it easily and quickly aids in making appealing graphic designs. Additionally, I would use Buzzsumo as a tool for finding the most viewed and popular content to take my social media strategy to the next level.

The kind of social media page I would open is Instagram due to its ability to offer a more visual platform and influencers enjoy showing their content more on the platform than on Twitter or Facebook. Consequently, the type of images I would post include, sharing interesting product images and that of business owners through fun facts to enable clients know them. Also, I would share pictures of brand announcements which declare offers and upcoming events to increase visibility.

When advertising, I would promote product brands that have attractive designs and logos which will massively attract and engage customers to use the products. To determine the target audience on social media, I will look at the current customer base and examine why these customers buy from me. Also, I will choose particular demographics to target and figure out who has the potential to buy the product or service by considering factors such as age, gender, ethnic background and occupation.
