a) Ethics are standards of right and wrong, good and bad. What makes the difference in ethical behavior is when one has to either “walk the talk” or “talk the walk”. In illustrated concrete terms, what do the above expressions mean?
b) Cyber Security refers to the protection and security of networks and systems. Discuss into some details how the three elements of Cyber security are fundamental in curbing cybercrime.
c) There is quite a number of ways through which corruption can be prevented in Africa. Using concrete examples, kindly identify and analyze at least four ways through which corruption can be prevented within the Ghanaian context.
a. Individuals should lead by example by exemplifying the ethical behavior they talk about not merely making claims without doing what they said they could do. For example, senior leaders championing for ethical conduct in organizations should lead by example to inspire their employees towards ethical behavior.
b. Application security- Adding security features within computer applications during their development period to safeguard a company against cyber-attacks.
Information security- Preventing the unauthorized use, access, disruption, disclosure, destruction, or modification of information.
Network security- Preventing and safeguarding against the unauthorized access into organizational computer networks.
c. Ensures that the public sect staff actions align to the public interests.
Exposing corruption activities and risks that remain hidden in governmental institutions.
Enacting severe laws and policies that reclaim the proceeds of corruption among corrupt government employees.
Developing pathways that render citizens’ appropriate tools to take part in their governments by identifying priorities, problems and finding solutions.
