Whether an Organization should Invest in Knowledge Management Initiatives
In my opinion, an organization should invest in knowledge management initiatives. When institution executives want to test new equipment, policies, or production procedures, the managers ask employees to conduct experiments. When there is no adequate knowledge and information management system, the workers' experiments become uncontrolled. There are several reasons why an organization should invest in knowledge management initiatives, which include administrators avoiding expensive mistakes, creating growth opportunities, and enhancing client experiences.
Institutional leaders pass information efficiently when they administer knowledge appropriately, and this action helps the executives avoid expensive errors. Moreover, the officials use knowledge management to create growth opportunities within the organizations, and these changes enhance employees' morale. According to Kandukuri (2017), when workers have the chances for development, their self-esteem increases because they access most of the company's information, which the staff uses when doing their work. Institutional administrators also use knowledge management to enhance client experiences that result in business bottom lines, which grow and improve continuously.
In conclusion, firms grow and succeed when their employees are capable of solving issues effectively. It is beneficial for organizational leaders to access information, which they can use to manage knowledge correctly. Proper knowledge administration helps executives use shorter periods when solving problems and avoid duplicating their efforts.
