Mr. Malik wants to buy 100 acres lands to construct mega project near Super highway, where he provides high standard of living with security & all facilities are available in this project to his clients. Where 100 acres land belongs to some poor people who live nearby this land, he hires Mr. Owais & provides him Rs.10 Million to vacate same land from these poor people, he threaten these poor people and forcefully make signature on sale agreement. After a week he acquired entire 100 acres lands from these poor people and handed over all land to Mr. Malik & made above mentioned mega project.

Arisa recently acquired the following items and now seeks your advice about any remedies she might have. Ascertain the validity contract of goods and its effect for below.
(a)A plasma television set bought from a Living Home store for which she paid RM 900. The TV never worked but because of the pressures of work she only managed to return it to the store 6 months later.
Anna works as a waiter in a restaurant at a country club. One afternoon, she was taking dirty dishes from the restaurant to the kitchen. As she was walking down the stairs, carrying the dishes on a tray, she slipped and fell which causes her to sustain serious back injury. The restaurant had employee policies which required its employees to transport dirty dishes via a cart and take the elevator instead of the stairs.

After investigation by the Labour Department, it was found that the restaurant’s stairs (i.e. where Anna slipped) was poorly maintained and was cracked and chipped. Furthermore, at the time of the accident, there was no anti-slip mat on the stairs.

1. Whether Anna has a cause of action against her employer, the restaurant.
2. Whether the restaurant breached its occupier’s liability.

Mullroy has complained to the local police about the vandalism in his neighborhood. However, the police have taken little interest in curbing the vandalism, much to Mullroy's disappointment. Determined to resolve the problem, Mullroy invites the local sheriff to his daughter's birthday party and offers him free weekend dinners at Mullroy's family restaurant if the sheriff promises to look into the vandalism problem. Discuss the nature of consideration and contract in this case.
