Kartilya ng Katipunan Teachings
Kartilya ng Katipunan teachings are moral and intellectual foundations for guiding Katipuneros and expressing moralities’ essential for joining the secret society. They had several teachings about peoples’ actions and words which showed how to be true. For instance, they believe in setting goals and engaging in actions that achieve them regardless of the challenges. They also believe in doing the right thing and showing the meaning of kindness which is through love and service rendered to others. Moreover, they teach equality regardless of race or background, honor, and putting words into action (Reyes, n.d). These teachings explain the relationship between peoples’ words and actions. Other teachings include leading family, the importance of trust and action. They teach how people should live to the fullest while observing values. They influence peoples’ thoughts on coordinating their actions and words while observing values and crucial principles.
