1 Who is George Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel?
George Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel was a German philosopher who's considered one of the most key figures of Western philosophy. He was born in August 1770 in Stuttgart and died in November 1831 in Berlin. His philosophical work marks the pinnacle of classical German philosophy. He developed a dialectical scheme that emphasized the progress of history of ideas from thesis to antithesis and thence to a higher and richer synthesis. His most fundamental achievement was his development of a distinctive articulation of idealism, in which dualisms are overcome.
