Colonization is is the act of setting up a colony away form one's place of origin. The colonial setting involved invading of someone's land and chasing away the original inhabitants.Colonization is sometimes seen as chastisement because it tends to involve an invading culture establishing political control over an indigenous population. The original population are made to become squatters in their own land and are subjected yo acute poverty as they are in turn made to provide cheap labour and become slaves.
