Select one complete poem you have studies or taught . demonstrate how you would use this three techniques
In a poetry, I would employ the following reading abilities: Skimming is a reading strategy in which you skim through a piece of text to get what you're looking for. When you already have a broad notion of what the content is about, this is the ideal option. You can also skim through the content before continuing on to the next step. Scanning is a reading technique that involves merely scanning a text with your eyes, usually to find what you're looking for or anything that 'pops' out at you. Active reading allows you to gain a much better knowledge of the text you're reading. This reading strategy should be employed when you're reading anything complicated or that requires critical thinking.
The most time-consuming and labor-intensive reading technique is detailed reading. Each word is attentively studied, consumed, and analyzed for significance by the readers. It takes time and patience to piece together the meanings of words in a sentence to gain a better comprehension, but in certain circumstances, this is the ideal method.
