Dear Mr. Roy,

I'm writing to inform you that my wife is not feeling well, and the doctor has advised her to stay in bed for the next two weeks. She has had a high fever for several days and has been diagnosed with typhoid after medical testing. My in-laws live outside of town, and there is someone in our family who can look after him. She is in desperate need of my help right now.

I'd want to spend three days with her so that I can take her to the hospital for a routine check-up and assist him in recuperating from his illness. I've completed all of my work and handed over the blueprints to the contractor. I've also attached a copy of my wife's report for your consideration. I hope you will understand my situation and grant me leaves for 3 days starting from 1st December to 3th December. I will be joining back on 15th February.
